Amazon brought legal action against the owner and operator of Matronexvip.com for facilitating the sale of fake product reviews to bad actors operating Amazon selling accounts. From this action, Amazon successfully obtained a settlement, which included monetary relief and a voluntary transfer of the domain to Amazon.

The website’s actions, meant to artificially inflate the ratings and rankings of products listed for sale in Amazon’s stores, deceived Amazon customers and harmed Amazon’s selling partners. Deceptive activity of this nature will face legal action from Amazon to maintain the integrity of our store and hold bad actors accountable.
